A friend recommended this brand, so I decided to give it a try. My skin is dry and tends to get red and flushed, but this product really calms the heat, hydrates well, and feels gentle on my skin. I plan to keep repurchasing it.
Such a nice light weight moisturizer! I have really oily skin and this does not make me more oily than i normally get. Even though it's light i still feel like i'm getting enough moisture for my skin for the day. It also layers nicely under my SPF and makeup.
I have been focusing on barrier creams recently since they hydrate and protect my skin while they calm irritation and redness. The added cica is is so helpful for the redness. I love the texture of this product - it's a gel / cream hybrid that goes on lightly but really moisturizes. My skin feels soft and protected as well as primed for makeup. I do use this after serums both at night and in the morning and I am so happy with the results.
I'm loving this Tocobo Cica calming gel cream. The product itself is a very faint green color and of medium thickness. It doesn't have any overpowering smell, just a faint tea tree smell (I believe it is just from experience with other products with tea tree). It goes on smoothly and does not leave any greasy feeling on my face. I've been using this only in the morning and night and my face just feels super smooth and hydrated. No irritation or random breakouts after using. Highly recommend and glad to have this as a part of my skin care routine.
This calming gel is a very lightweight lotion/gel, which feels very cool and absorbs well into my skin. It isn’t irritating in any way, and I find my redness has lessened, either by the immediate cooling feeling or the cica complex. It is a light green color, but it absorbs completely clear and matte. It also does not interfere or pill with makeup applied over it. I have not experienced any breakouts while using it, even while working out.
